Digging my heart out with a spoon...yeah,it felt kinda like that!

So much trust in a few little steps!
She was so excited to go and stay all day at school....She couldn't believe she was going to be able to eat lunch at school!

Ah best buddies...seperated for 7 hours a day. Halle and I cried the whole first day, it feels like I am just handing her over to the world to take care of now. I totally understand how some mom's say that they live for summer, when their kids belong to them again.

The New Neighborhood

Tay's new school, Charles Elementary, its only 4 blocks away and so we walk home from school when its nice outside.
A view of our neighborhood....we love the sidewalks and tall trees and all of the homes are so unique!

The crazies on one of our fun family walks....

It has.......Potential!

Our house was built in 1917 and the owners before us brought it up to date....to the 80's that is...I want to paint the shutters a different color...I am thinking maybe very dark gray...let me know any ideas you have. The neighborhood is what makes this house great!
I had to put the stairs in here because the girls love the fact that there are stairs..

This is the front room, our living room, I really like this area and its way down on my list of priorities to paint...sorry for the clutter, I still havnt hung anything on the walls...to the left is our empty dining room...let me know if you stumble across a table for cheap. And to the right is our kitchen, its covered in wall paper...and the linolium is mauve and green...second priority!

Our front door and entryway, needs some color but this little room is not a priority...notice the little white door on the side? Its our mailbox...the mailman puts the mail in from the outside and we open the little door and get it. The girls absolutely love this!

It has....potential..... This room is my first priority, the room is big and you cant tell but the walls are peach..the trim, walls, windows, doors are all brown...I will post pics with the finished project, its gonna be great!

Thats the whole first floor...I will post pictures of the upstairs and basement later...I think once we at least get the family room the way we want it, it will feel more like home.

Goodbye 7712 Chris Anne Circle...Home

This has been our "welcome home" for 4 years!!
My yellow stripes...Its funny how something so simple made me so happy! Definitely need to put them in my new room....need some of that happy!

Ah, the lifeblood of our house....1200 sq feet doesn't seem all that bad right about now!!!! So many memories in these two little rooms!

When we emptied the girls rooms and we were leaving for the last time...it felt like someone had died with it all empty!! The sweet room where both girls were babies, and now crazy toddlers and kids...how much I miss it. Okay...I think yellow is a good color for me in my home...it makes me happy! There are no yellows in our house now!

HOME.....it is what we make it right!? Is home where you are? or is home always the last place you were? I have moved 22 times in my life all and all, and sometimes you do feel right at home where you are and sometimes...HOME is where you ache to be. It probably has more to do with attitude than anything else but how do you stop the ache? Anyway, lots of questions-so I guess I probably have some more moves in me until I can find out those answers all by myself.

1st day of Kindergarten at Bunker Hill- retakes

Since the real first day of Kindergarten pictures have been lost...I took my camera with me on a day I volunteered in her class and got these. Isnt she cute!
Very hard at work...look at that concentration!

Emy was in town visiting and she went with us to take Tay to school that day.

Love those sprinkles. Oh my Tay, why do you have to grow up? At least she only had half day at Bunker Hill!

Ready to take on the world!

Holiday World!!!

The girls saved their money almost the whole summer to be able to go to Holiday World...This little theme park is the cleanest, toddler/Kid friendly place ever...most of the rides are geared toward them and they have a Christmas park, Halloween park, Thanksgiving park, 4th of July...well you get the idea, we have been two years in a row and we will definitely be back next year.
Crazy weeze, she had sooo much fun!

They had this small Drop zone and Tay loved loved loved it! She went on it 7 times that day and then at the end of the day that was the last special ride that she wanted to go on and the lady said she was too small! So sad, it seriously broke her heart.

So many rides for little ones!!

Crazy Tay! We went with the Kellys and it was so, so fun!
okay, so a few of you commented on Tay's um, finger....Its definitely her pointer finger people :) And well, maybe I should trade it for another picture

The End of Summer, Lost forever...

The last part of our trip to WY and the end of our summer are lost in, well they are gone. I thought that they had downloaded properly on my computer but they did not and I had already deleted them from my camera before I realized it....The Hog wrestling, my best birthday ever, Tays first day of kindergarten and tons more are lost. I cried! But now I have to move onto fall, as I am sure all of you are tired of me bloggin summer since it is November!

Lake Palisades

Matt, Meg and Evie on a conoe ride
Me and Meg, funny picture, funny girls, Miss you!

Oh, my Gregory, how you make me laugh....

Dear Golfing, I dont like you much!

Look how pretty!! Greg and the mountains!
Ah, Dustins, we had so much fun golfing with you! Who knew you were suuuch good golfers!? Quit your dayjobs...seriously. ps...next time we are getting a cart!

Cute picture.......

Awful golfer! you know when you try something for the first time....and you are like, well at least the first time I will have beginners luck...well.. I didn't even have that! This was nothing like putt putt, by the end I was so miserable from never being able to hit the ball I just carried it up the last hill. Bad sport, maybe, but I am sticking to Putt putt!

Okay, maybe I will golf again here, or maybe just sneak onto the course and have a picnic. Couldn't you just stare at those mountains all day?

Lincoln County Fair

The hogs at the fair were quite intimidating...they girls are either tired or peeing their pants they are so scared being that close to a hog...
First time for cotton candy!!! Yum!

Ahh, sweetness...And there they were, watching the Granny Cloggers at the Lincoln County Fair

Beautiful People I am related to, dont you think!! I miss you all

They really could not get enough of the cloggers....can you tell?

A parade with tons of horses and princesses! And most importantly, candy...they have a parade in Star Valley to mark the beginning of their fair. The girls loved it.
Fun, fun parks

Janet and Evie at the fair, too cute...miss you guys!

I pledge alliegience...the girls loved watching the fair princess carry the flag on her horse and race around! Who wouldn't.

Look at that face! So sweet! I think she's in Awe.

The 5k Race...

Okay, so after the race we were trying to all jump up in the air and sadly....this was the best one we had, notice how high up we all are! We all had soooo very much fun! The weather was perfect and we all did great. Us girls almost didn't make it up the mountain in time to start but luckily Bridget and Megan crushed on some guys who gave us a ride to the starting line. Janet ran it pregnant, I admire her so much!!! What to go chicka! You are my hero!
I'm the winner!!!??? After the race, Taylor and I were listening to my Ipod shuffle (step up) when all of the sudden everyone turned to look at me...I thought that maybe I was singing too loudly but then they said that I was the fastest female for 20-29 year olds. It was a small race, especially to win with my time...but I ran it in 22:20, I was excited. I had never won anything except for when I cheated that one time in a CC race:) I got a pair of socks for it and everything! Not bad for a girl coming from sea level to 7000 ft. Hee hee, listen to me brag!

My mom, chilled with all the crazies while we ran, Thank you Mom!!!

Ahh, the cute supporters! I love them!

Wyoming adventures...

Cold Lake Palisades by Grandma's house...Tay didn't mind!
Halle did, she was just fine with the pretty pink towel of Grandma's on the rocky beach.

Okay, this was taken in my parents back yard. We saw it back there and I wanted a picture and so my mom and I ran out and a made the best moose sound I could and then it turned and looked at me and I seriously felt chills roll down my spine....I didn't zoom in if that tells you anything. I was scared.
